Over a hundred years of Giants baseball previously sat on shelves around the Bay Area. Captured inside, the faces of former Owners, Managers and Hall of Famers anchored to the fragility of a single film reel or video tape with no determination to be seen again. That is, until now. The San Francisco Giants are committed to preserving our history because our history is shapes our legacy. The Legacy Project is a mission to digitize over 16,000 video assets dating back to the late 19th century and ensure the security of those many faces and memories are to be seen by generations to come.
